Between the Stars

David L. George is a Jazz trumpeter, drummer, composer/arranger, and educator. He began studying in 1965 under the instruction of noted Seattle trumpeter Les Beigle, and went on to recieve his Bachelor of Music degree with honors from Cornish College of the Arts in 1980. David's instructors included Gary Peacock, Jim Knapp, Butch Nordal, Art Lande, and Julian Priester. For the next three years, he performed as a trumpet soloist on the cruise ship S. S. Independence, Honolulu, Hawaii. He was also trumpeter and composer with Bob Braye‘s “Peace & Rhythm.”
