Death of Dawn is the Dutch solo project of Casper Vellekoop, also known from the electronic doom metal band Swansdown, the electro/wave formation Model Depose and the industrial/noise project HERAS. Death of Dawn's music ranges from stirring ambient soundscapes and dark ambient to powerful industrial and rhythmic noise. This way, relentless aggression is countered by sanctuaries of tranquillity. Inspiration comes from darkness, solitude, movies and the desire to smash things up, as well as a wide range of music spun at various goth parties.
