Smoke Rings

By: Daniel Barry
A dreamy soundscape for a journey into the unknown, an expedition into a jungle, an alien landscape, a future world, a strange mental space. Native Americam overtones, an Indian burial site, ghost town, outdoor thriller, man against nature, Solo flute and winds recorded in an underground chamber.

By: Daniel Barry

Dr. Daniel Barry is a highly accomplished composer, conductor, and trumpet player based in Seattle, Washington. His intriguing music falls primarily into the Jazz genre, but integrates elements garnered from advanced Classical music studies and residency and festival performances throughout the world, in particular Brazil and Peru. Daniel was recently honored with a Fulbright Scholarship, and will serve as Composer-In-Residence at the Univeridade Estadual de Campinas, Brazil, in 2012. He also currently writes for and performs regularly with his chamber music group Walk All Ways.
