Tears of Onyx

By: Scorpio Static
While the music has a sad and mysterious feel, it can also be interpreted as representing tears of joy. Either way it builds beautifully into a dramatic well composed piece. The haunting guitar with clever distortion really adds dimension.

Scorpio Static is Virginia Electronica artist Jason Buckland, a musical composer who comes to the United States by way of Hong Kong. Traveling around the world has given him the opportunity to absorb music of many cultures and styles. Influenced by artists as diverse as Pink Floyd, the Pet Shop Boys and Erasure, Scorpio Static uses Techno music as his canvas, creating songs with variations of Blues, Rock, Dubstep, and Trance. Scorpio Static’s new album, "Tranceformation,” is full of emotion and a natural fit for films or TV shows featuring 20-somethings and hot urban club scenes.
