Santi Debriano is a Panamanian-American Jazz bassist, guitarist, and composer. His abilities as an improviser, composer, and arranger have made him a favorite of such greats as Archie Shepp, Sam Rivers, Pharaoh Sanders, Oliver Lake, Kirk Lightsey, Sonny Fortune, and Freddie Hubbard. A sideman on over 100 CDs in Modern and Latin Jazz, he has produced 9 CDs of his own. He leads the bands Flash of the Spirit and Castle Magic, a trio with bassists Essiet Essiet and Harvie S. Santi Debriano teaches privately from his home on Staten Island, NY.
