How to Pre-Load Tracks on the R-Box Pearl Device

RadioSparx provides a way for you to pre-load tracks on the R-Box Pearl device prior to deployment to a client, so that once it commences playing at the client's location, it will have a batch of tracks already loaded on the device and so will not need to immediately utilize the client's Internet capacity to download tracks. This is useful in the event the client has limited or slow Internet capacity.  To pre-load tracks, do the following:

1.  On a Windows computer system, run the R-Box software in store-and-forward mode to cause a batch of tracks to download and be stored in the /music folder within the application root folder of the R-Box Pearl software.

2.  Prepare a blank USB drive by formatting it as a FAT drive, and then create a folder on the USB drive named /RBoxMusic  (with this exact capitalization).

3.  On the Windows system, using either File Explorer or a command line copy command, copy the files from in the /music folder to a USB drive into the /RBoxMusic folder.

4.  Place the USB drive into the R-Box device and make sure it is being recognized properly and you see the files on the USB drive (via ES Explorer or other similar disk management app).

5.  Make sure the Android device is configured to play the same schedule that was playing on the Windows system.

6.  Click the IMPORT function under settings and it will load the tracks from the USB drive to the Android's protected folder space.

7.  Proceed to return to the R-Box app and the music will play from the loaded track set.
