Horror Music | Genre | Orchestral | Classic retro horror thriller
This music is a direct throwback to the 1940s and 1950s when the genre of monster movies was first emerging. Producers had little access to electronic instruments, hence the music is primarily orchestral and has a classic retrograde kitschy sound that is distinct and instantly recognizable by fans of classic horror movies. Virtually the only electronic instrument available at the time was the theremin, hence it was used frequently in classical horror music.
