Frownland

Frownland is a five-piece band from Seattle writing songs with a moody blend of Shoegaze and Psychedelic elements. Their music is beautiful, haunting, and honest, featuring smooth female vocals that glide over a velvet wasteland of hollow-body guitar feedback. Frownland's songs are about loss, longing, and cold winters, with an early morning "still kinda tripping from the night before" feeling. The group includes the guitarist from Mazzy Star and members of the band Pretty Mary Sunshine, who had a song featured in the SFW movie soundtrack.
