Joining us from Florida, Mateen J delivers a new composition-driven style to the realm of Chillout, IDM, and Trip Hop Electronica - a mix between Aphex Twin and Keith Jarrett due to his Jazz piano background. He was trained in Classical piano from age 10 and soon developed a knack for improvisation. Mateen often weaves unique Ambient and New Age textures into his melodic and harmonic foundations, which are mainly improvised on piano and keyboards. Mateen’s tracks will add a cool, laid back, and very modern edge to a variety of productions.
