John Tinger

Based in Alabama, John Tinger has written compelling original music for over 40 years. The sonic texture, dynamic intensity, and the way the timbre, colors, and modality resonate with his soul compel him to compose solely instrumental compositions with a focus on the ethereal, introspective, and dramatic, mostly on acoustic guitar, with some works on electric as well! John's artistic influences are quite diverse, ranging from Pat Metheny and Alex Degrassi to Will Ackerman, Claude Debussy, Vaugh Williams, John Fahey, and many others.
