Mike Stein

Based in NYC, Mike Stein is a composer, arranger, and pianist who works in the Dramatic, Orchestral, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz, and World genres, among many others. Bernard Purdie, the world’s most recorded drummer, noticed Mike’s versatility and skill as a performer and writer and decided to make him his primary co-producer, arranger, and conductor. As a graduate of the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Mike collaborated with Sonny Kompanek, best known for his work on several Coen Brother films and the movie "The Good Shepard."
