Blow Up Hollywood is a backlash to the excesses of glitter marketing in media. Blow Up Hollywood features songs hosting a spectacle of highly accomplished musicians, including musical visionary Steve Messina and Julliard Scholar, Dave Eggar. The band creates a huge orchestral wall of sound with a blissful string of arrangements and poignant vocals, making each track a requiem. Taken as a whole, Blow Up Hollywood's albums are overwhelmingly replete with the band's clever song concepts.
