Clive Bell

Country: UK

Clive Bell is a musician and composer specializing in Far Eastern music. He studied the shakahuchi (Japanese bamboo flute) in Tokyo with the respected performer and composer Kohachiro Miyata; and while in Laos and Thailand, learned to play the khene (Lao mouth organ), an instrument which dates back to the Bronze Ages of Southeast Asia. Clive is now based in London where he teaches shakahuchi and performs with the Japanese classical group "Japanesque," led by koto player and singer Rie Yanagisawa.
