Trachtenverein Roßecker

The 'Roßecker' (pronounced ross'ecker) are a special cultural association founded in 1920 and named after the nearby Alpine mountain "Roßeck".  The group has always specialized in traditional Austrian music and yodelling.  Yodelling is a traditional form of singing marked by frequent switches from "chest voice" to "head voice" and large intervals.
