Thomas Geelans

Thomas Geelens is a Dutch independent artist and the voice behind blue-eyed Afropop. A sound built on African rhythms, indie Pop melodies, and a vocal that cuts through everything you thought you knew about the genre. The foundation was laid early in his life. Growing up in Maastricht, his mother placed him behind a drum kit before he had the chance to choose an instrument himself. Still, those formative years on drums gave Thomas Geelens something invaluable: a deep, intuitive sense of rhythm that continues to define his music today.
