River Road Project

River Road Project (2RP) aka Lee Ilai Aholima, hails from Niue, an island in the South Pacific. As a young boy in the 70's he listened to a wide range of music in the home, Led Zeppelin, Quincy Jones, Xavier Cugat, Santana, Bob Dylan etc - his mother used to be a DJ in Niue. 2RP began his foray into creating music writing lyrics back in the 1990's. Predominantly he produces folk. However his musical influences are determined by the lyrics he writes, sometimes it's folk, sometimes its hip hop or rock or new age.
