Acutewit

Heather Rae Gundacker, aka Acutewit, is an independent songwriter from the US, whose warm, cinematic music blends heartfelt storytelling with a poet’s voice. She refined her craft at NYC poetry slams and readings from 1999–2021 before pivoting into songwriting in Jupiter, Florida. A child of the ’80s who came of age in the ’90s, she draws from a wide range of genre influences. Her songs explore family, love, growth, existence, humanity, and the universe—emotionally honest music created for film, television, and visual storytelling.
