Scott Michael Phillips

US-based musician Scott Michael Phillips is known for hits like Dog Fight, and Eat Your Attitude. He left a poor rice farming community to chase his musical dreams after high school. Within a few years his band Half Acre had scored hits with songs like Tramp Stamp, Phillips' career was nearly derailed in the 1990s by a serious substance abuse problem, and his marriage fell apart. But his love of music put him back on track. In recent years, the 12-time award winner has been releasing a series of singles from the archive.
