Blondel

Blondel is the latest incarnation of Amazing Blondel who were an English acoustic progressive Folk band, led by composer/guitarist Eddie Baird from the North of England. They released several LPs for Island Records in the early 1970s and were sometimes categorized as Psychedelic Folk or Medieval Folk Rock, but their music was more a reinvention of Renaissance music, based around the use of period instruments such as lutes and recorders. The current incarnation is a more easy-going, family-friendly affair appealing to all ages.
