In early 2024, Debut EP 'Last Light' led to Magenta Dusk featuring on BBC Introducing in the East Midlands 'Hot for 2024', with airplay on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Nottingham daytime shows. Comparisons have been drawn with The Midnight, Electric Youth, Chvrches, and Timecop1983. Other influences include the melodic dream pop of M83, Beach House, and Alvvays.
