Like other Bourbon Street musicians affected by the Covid pandemic, the time that Chicken on the Bone took off allowed them to create the music they could not have otherwise found time to do. Being from New Orleans, they have a lifetime of local exposure to great artists such as The Meters, Dr. John, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint, Fats Domino, and many others. New Orleans receives the credit for their sound, and Bourbon Street taught them to appreciate all styles. Chicken on the Bone's music is Country, Rock, Blues, Funk, and Flavorful!
