Kristel Birkholtz

Gifted South African artist and violinist Kristel Birkholtz studied music performance and research at the University of Witwatersrand and received advanced degrees. For her academic performance at university, she was awarded a scholarship for music and a prize for the best string player. As a recording artist, Kristel was nominated for a South African Music Award in 2010 and in 2020 for her Classical recordings. Kristel is also in demand as an online session musician.
