At the beginning of its second decade, Rabid achieved success by reaching the high 30's on the Billboard Top 40 Indicator with "I Love My Mother’s Boyfriends" and "Fight Fight." This garnered the attention of Ronnie King, the producer for Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, and others, and he agreed to work with the band. Rabid's material made its way onto the Billboard Top 40 chart and has been placed in the movie BorderCross starring Danny Trejo.
