The Dirty Projekt

The Dirty Projekt is a duo from Riga, Latvia that features Andrejs and Viktorija. The duo is now based in southern Germany. Clearly in thrall to the '90s, their sound is a collision of grunge guitars, atmospheric synths, soft vocals, and compressed drums. The music is very reminiscent of the first wave of bands that combined Alternative music with sampled drum breaks and synths, the likes of Garbage and Sneaker Pimps. Their songs have a melodic sensibility, and The Dirty Projekt aren’t afraid of a good hook.
