Gritty Britain

The UK’s Gritty Britain is a three-piece Punk-Folk band whose compositions are occasionally risqué with social commentary on contemporary society. With diverse and individual perspectives, these experienced musicians deliver with a humorous flair, in a regional Cumbrian dialect. Band members Colin Salter, Tom Heywood, Andrew Slater, and Tom Heywood released Gritty Britain’s debut album, Good For Nothing, which is receiving extensive regional airplay and supportive press reviews as the band prepare to enter the studio for a follow-up album.
