Mean Gene (aka Gene L) comes to us from Washington, DC, specializing in EDM, Deep House, Progressive House, Hip Hop, and Club/Dance music recordings. He's a Deep House and Hip-Hop producer born in the Funk and Soul era. Parliament/Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Ohio Players, and Led Zeppelin were among his first influences in music. As an aspiring rap artist, Mean Gene started making his own music because there were no Hip-Hop producers in DC at the time. His music lends the perfect groove to dance, lounge, and retail venues.
