By: Tan Ses
The Dogon are a tribe living in the Sahara for a long time and are known for ancient wisdom about the Sirius star system. Being of importance to all African peoples along the desert zone, it was the Nubian astronomers linking the appearance of Sirius in the morning skies to the Nile floodings.
