Stephen Braude

US artist Stephen Braude is an internationally renowned academic (Emeritus Prof. and former Chair of Philosophy at the Univ. of Maryland) who has pursued a part-time parallel career as a Jazz pianist and composer. Although he's a classically-trained pianist, he was always drawn to improvisation and Jazz, and his compositions demonstrate that he has a gift for writing memorable melodies and deploying sophisticated harmonies.
