JD And The Longfellows

UK-based JD and the Longfellows is a harmony-rich, violin and piano-driven, lyrically energetic, Skiffle Folk, four-piece band. They formed in London in 2005 after JD moved from Basingstoke with a desire to produce a musical cocktail of original dynamic Folk music. They have released three self-penned albums, Confessions (2006), Happy Hour Again! (2008), and Swinging for England (2011). Their sound is like ‘Musical Folk Theatre’ with the gorgeous vocals of Clare, virtuoso piano of Jo, and the lyrical dexterity and bellowing of Josh (JD).
