Fuga Bembe
By: Daniel Barry
Combining traditional Fugue with modern elements including folkloric rhythm and improvisation. The chamber ensemble starts very proper, but the piece starts to become dissonant as the accordion enters. An interesting play between restrained classical perfection and uninhibited improvisation.
