Based in New York Otar & the Wolf is a duo comprised of two classically trained musicians and friends who live and work in a little red brick walk-up above a family-owned French bistro in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. Together they produce Soul, Indie, and Jazz music spun askew with an Eastern European flair. Often likened to artists such as the Kinks, Tom Waits, and Wilco, these boys bank on sharp songwriting, roomy raw arrangements, and elegant acoustic musicality.
