Shenandoah
This is an entirely new and original look at a folk song that dates back to the early 19th century. Arranged for solo soprano with piano accompaniment by Gay Santerre. Full of musical imagery, the accompaniment very vividly imitates a river throughout the 1st and 2nd verse.

Lyrics
Oh, Shenandoah, I long to hear you.
Away, you rolling river.
Oh, Shenandoah, I long to hear you.
Away, I'm bound away
'cross the wide Missouri.
'Tis sev'n long years since last I saw you.
Away, you rolling river.
'Tis sev'n long years since last I saw you.
Away, I'm bound away
'cross the wide Missouri.
