Space Disco

Space Disco (also known as Sci-Fi Disco and Cosmo-Rock) was inspired by both disco music and notable works of Sci-Fi film directors such as George Lucas (the Star Wars saga), Andrei Tarkovsky (Solaris) and Steven Spielberg (Close Encounters of the Third Kind). The main idea behind this genre is that of an exploration of the alien cultures and societies in outer space by humans. It is the music you would hear off-world in alien clubs and discotheques. Picture freaky aliens, robots and cyborgs bumping and grinding, gettin' their dance freak on. Yeah, it's happening somewhere in the universe right now!
