For the Love of You (Instrumental Edit)

By: Mick Simpson
Epic blues rock Instrumental that builds slowly and surely with light and shade throughout the track. Sounds like Gary Moore. Features smokin' hot electric guitar, shrieking organ, driving bass, drums. Good for scenes of walking alone down a one way street, anticipation, heading for a showdown

By: Mick Simpson

While widely acclaimed in the music industry, UK artist Mick Simpson's work is little known to the rest of the music world. While performing in the early 1980s, he was spotted by Elkie Brooks, who signed him up to tour in her band Vinegar Joe. BBC Radio One’s Tommy Vance spoke to Mick backstage after a gig, and began playing Mick’s original instrumental tracks on The Friday Night Rock Show. In the 1990s, John Parr, of ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’ fame, featured him on his album, Man With A Vision. In addition, Mick won the 2004 International Song Writers Award, sponsored by The Brit Awards.
